PIRT holds successful 26th Annual Meeting & announces 11th Pacific Conference

The 26th PIRT Annual Meeting concluded in Apia with members endorsing the 2026-2030 Framework and announcing the 11th Pacific Islands Conference for Nature Conservation, to be held in Noumea on 7-11 September 2026.

Co-hosted by SPREP, the Government of New Caledonia and PIRT, the conference will bring together 800+ delegates across protected areas, species recovery, nature/culture/people and law/finance streams.
